Week 1 Reflection

It's only been one week, but I have already learned a lot in #EME6414!  I came into this class having never written a blog and I learned how to set one up and actually post!  I'll admit, I still stumble through it at times but it seems to be coming easier and I can see how people claim it to be an almost therapeutic activity.  I also learned more about Web 2.0, the participatory web.  I ran across some interesting ideas and concepts.  One that really stuck out to me was the idea of building a community versus an audience.  An audience only consumes and does not produce.

Although I'm still nervous about the challenge of using different tools and methods, I'm looking forward to what else is in store for the rest of the semester.  Bring it on!
